A Gallon Beast - Hydro Gallon Tactical

I was needing an upgrade to my gym bottle, so I decided to get this item—excessive, yes, but helps to keep my gym routine going without pausing long to refill. With choice of a swivel handles, as well as a side handle on the included bag, it’s easy to carry this thing when filled to the maximum; as well, the included zipper pouch, big enough for a phone, helps to free my pockets and keep thongs consolidated. That the Gallon is metal is great, as this includes the option of putting in hot things as well as cold things (you know, in case I need that gallon of coffee for a long, early morning drive). And being metal, that gives me an ease if mind in its durability—and, filled to capacity, would make a good bludgeon in the event of a mugging. That was t is American-made is the other bonus, as I know I an getting a good quality item. In all, though it has only been a few weeks of use, I am loving this item, and would recommend anyone considering to get it.

A bit bulkier than expected, but for what it’s used for and meant for, it works well. The only downsides of it is cleaning it and filling it up. I would give it 5 stars, but it’s kind of a nuisance to clean and fill up because it feels like it takes forever. Another downside is the cap- I wish there was a cap like what Camelbak uses with the rubber tip or something comparable to that- not just an open cap that you have to be somewhat careful about spilling whatever you have in it. For a container this large where you cannot put it in any cupholder and have to put it on the floor of your car or in the seat, it would make sense to have a narrow cap. (Not being able to put it in a cupholder is expected, not a complaint) It would be nice if there were caps you could swap out to your liking. Overall, the negatives were very minor but everything else about the Hydro Gallon Tactical I love so far and recommend. The covering is really convenient for work as someone working on a truck.
